Behind the Scenes.

Awareness_and_Training

Monthly Training program initiated by our QHSE Team to provide awareness about the importance of sustainable e-waste disposal management and its best practices is the key to effective e-waste management. Our programme aims at providing training and creating awareness among individuals and firms.

• To reduce the adverse impact on environment and health arising out of the polluting electronic waste
• The basics of waste segregation, waste types, and how firms can minimize their carbon footprint.
• The need for recycling e-waste (Data sanitization, Data security, Hazard control, etc.)
• The technologies used in recycling e-waste

In the post covid-19 world, there has been a massive uptick in remote working and a gradual shift from offline to online working. To facilitate it, companies all over the world have purchased laptops and other electronic devices on bulk but a significant percentage of them lack sustainable end-of-life processes. Thus, with COVID-19 keeping people indoors, the usage is only getting higher and without a sustainable way of processing and recycling e-waste, it could reach 100 million tonnes by 2050.
